Launch of the Equality Commission’s Formal Investigation Report

You and your colleagues are invited to the launch of the report of the Equality Commission’s formal investigation into the role of recruitment agencies in the employment of migrant workers.

Venue: The Cherry Room, Lisburn Civic Centre, Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn BT27 4RL. The event will be ending with a supper at 8pm

This formal investigation was carried out under the powers conferred on the Equality Commission under Article 47(3) Race Relations (NI) Order 1997.

The report highlights the importance of the recruitment sector in the recruitment and employment of migrant workers in Northern Ireland and the impact of this relationship on equality of opportunity. 

The results will be published at this event. Its recommendations are important for both migrant workers and for the recruitment sector.
