Alexandra De La Torre

Alexandra De La Torre works for the Housing Executive as a Community Cohesion Advisor implementing the Shared Neighbourhood Programme in South East. She is also a board member of the Latin-American Association and a free-lance coordinator of the project Exploring Global issues and Development Education through music at schools, a project delivered by Beyond Skin.

Clare Cuthbert

Clare Cuthbert is currently in her third year as facilitator / trainer with Community Change which is a regional organisation providing developmental support for community groups. For the previous ten years she worked in the development education sector with The Centre for Global Education and Tearfund and has lived and worked in a variety of developing countries.

Darren Ferguson

Darren Ferguson is the project manager of the organization Beyond Skin, a charity using multicultural art forms to address racism & sectarianism Northern Ireland. Prior to setting up Beyond Skin in 2004, Darren worked in Romania on short term aid visits between 1994 - 2005 and also worked for three years with the development aid charity Concern Worldwide."

Helen Henderson

Helen Henderson is the Development Education Co-ordinator at Children in Crossfire. The Development Education team work in the North West to increase critical awareness of local and global issues among young people, educationalists and the wider public, giving them knowledge and skills that will empower both individuals and their communities to participate in action for a more just, equal, and shared world. The work currently carried out in development education includes a training course for teachers (TIDAL), work within schools, conferences/seminars, and campaigns/workshops within the wider community. Children in Crossfire is an accredited centre for delivering training through the Open College Network and is currently developing a range of training courses for teachers, church leaders and development facilitators.

Stephen McCloskey

Stephen McCloskey is Director of the Centre for Global Education and project leader on the Black and Minority Ethnic Project. His role is to support Charo in the delivery of her activities and provide advice where needed. Centre for Global Education is a development non-governmental organisation that provides education services to increase awareness of international development issues and encourage action toward social justice and economic equality.
